KÖNNEN Goes Global | August, 2008
Los Cabos, Mexico – KÖNNEN GlasHaus, Inc. is proud to announce its involvement in the first of several projects located outside of the continental United States. Working with a local Colorado architect, KÖNNEN will be supplying the windows and doors for a private home in the exclusive La Palmilla resort of Los Cabos, Mexico. Area builders have expressed their excitement in working with KÖNNEN’s high-quality wood windows and doors, especially since they are now are manufactured in the nearby Southwest region of the United States.
Featuring numerous lift and slide doors and an 18-foot, pocketed corner meet unit, the project also includes a custom wood front-entry door. KÖNNEN will complete the installation on the project in the fall of 2008.

KÖNNEN Adds Wood Distressing Machinery

Sedalia, Colorado – KÖNNEN GlasHaus, Inc. has recently added a creative line of wood distressing machinery to its U.S. manufacturing operations. This comes as the latest of continuous enhancements to KÖNNEN’s custom offerings for wood windows and doors.
This new high-pressure equipment blasts wood with a variety of media, including everything from walnut shells to aluminum oxide, depending on the distressed feature desired. The result is a wood product with a “vintage” or “reclaimed” feel.
KÖNNEN will release its first distressed window and door project in the fall of 2008 for a private residence located on a historic ranch north of Fort Collins, Colorado. |
